Ipswich-based Blyth Valley has won the E-business Award at the UK Broker Awards, during a ceremony held at The Brewery in London.
The firm, which is one of the leading providers of professional indemnity insurance to management consultants in the UK, won the Award for its innovative customer tracking application, The Matchmaker. Mark Pitcher, E-commerce Manager at Blyth Valley, was presented with the Award by host, the comedian Alun Cochrane.

The Matchmaker is an intelligent tracking tool, capable of supplying in-depth, detailed information about the number of times Blyth Valley’s website has been visited, who has visited, the type of quote searched for, the most frequently visited pages, the length of each visit and the reason for each visitor leaving.

The judging panel consisted of a number of highly experienced insurance industry experts and was chaired by Martin Friel, the editor of Insurance Age magazine.
